Blue Chip 35 Index

Our blue chip index strategy is a low-cost approach which seeks to provide long-term total return, primarily through capital appreciation, but also some income from ultra-large companies (top 150 companies in market cap).

Target Benchmark

Our objective is to exceed the return of the S&P 500 Index and the proprietary Bridgeway Ultra Large 35 Index.

Investment Universe

Only the largest 150 companies in terms of market capitalization are considered for investment.

Security Selection and Weighting

Assets are invested selectively among the largest 150 companies, with care taken to control exposure to risk. Rebalancing takes place every 2 to 3 years to keep turnover down.

The S&P 500 Index is a broad-based, unmanaged measurement of changes in stock market conditions based on the average of 500 widely held common stocks while the Bridgeway Ultra-Large 35 Index is an equally weighted index comprised of very large, "blue chip" U.S. stocks, excluding tobacco; it is compiled by the adviser of the Fund. It is not possible to invest directly in an index.
